Flyball

We went to a tournament this weekend.

Didn't do all that well on Saturday, but on Sunday we rocked!!!!

It was the debut of our new team On The Fly and we came home with a ribbon saying 1st!!!! How awesome is that!?!?!?

Willow also came home with her FDCh title (Flyball Dog Champion)!!!

I need to start blogging again.

Well, let's start here, Willow got her FDX title and next weekend should have her FDCh! I'm very happy to finally be competing.

Our paperwork for immigration has been sent in!!!

After careful consideration I have decided to move back into my mom's, I will be saving a lot of money and will be able to get another dog when one comes available that I would like to adopt.

Well, once again it's been awhile.

It's been a busy couple of months and is going to get busier over the summer. Willow and I are doing 3-4 days a week of lessons, some seminars here and there, and demos. We have lots of demo dates for this summer so friends and family had better start showing up! Right now we are starting SuperDog Games on Mondays, Rally-O Tuesdays (last class this Tues and we are going to take a session off to work more on attention), I help out with Flyball classes on Thursdays and we work on Willow after class, and the same on Sunday. We are hoping to have her competing in Flyball by autumn, she is actually doing a bit better with her chasing issue, she's maturing, so hopefully that will happen. In July we go back to Agility, and I will go back to Rally-O next time 'round too. There is also a Musical Freestyle and Frisbee Freestyle seminar in July. No, I'm not rich, it's my hobby and I love it, could have worse addictions.

AUG 1ST - Oshawa ON - One Show, 45 mins.

SEPT 8/9 - Orono Fairgrounds, Orono On.

Guess It's Been Awhile

Was told today that I need to do an update. I don't really know what to write, not much has been going on.

It's winter, blah, I really hate winter. Feel like hibernating, wish I could.

Willow and I are doing Intermediate Obedience now and I was told yesterday that we would probably do well in Rally-O. So, that's five sports!!!!

Willow got a little bite at daycare last Tuesday, it was a puncture wound over her right eye (thank goodness it wasn't an inch over or it would have hit her in the eye). It's healing nicely thanks to lots of diligent care and infection prevention. Now she seems to have an infection in the left eye. Poor girl, double whamy.

Been having a nasty time at work lately. The girls I work with on Wednesdays and Fridays are great and we all get along wonderfully, why wouldn't we, we've been together for more than five years. But, the girls that I work with on Tuesdays and Thursdays are just downright mean. Any little mistake I make I get shouted at about and the 'mistakes' are just differences in the two offices, everyone does things differently. So, hopefully a new position opens up that would be better for me. The two good ones that I work with are hoping this doesn't happen, but for my sanity I hope it does.

I'm going back to Egypt hopefully in August, and yes we will be getting married then. It's the only way that we can be together as it is a tonne of work and a tonne of money for him to come here even just for a visit. So, the wedding date would be August 23 which is a Thursday, that way in 2008 it will be a Saturday so we can do the year-to-date thing here. Hopefully, he is here by then. I know, it is a hard thing for some family members and some friends to understand, but they will just have to understand, I'm doing what's right for me, for once I have to.
