I Can Throw a Frisbee Now!!!

I suck at frisbee, can't throw one for the life of me. So, what's this non-frisbee person decide to do.... freestyle fribee with Willow. HAHA
Today we did a frisbee clinic. I learned to throw!!! Backhand, reverse, behind the back, under the leg, floater, floater-bump, butterfly, you name it, we learned it.
Also, Willow is learning how to catch, and backflips, vaulting, etc.
It was a fun day, best of all, I can throw a frisbee now!!!!!!

Pic

I just had to share this recent pic of my devilishly happy girl!

Kinda reminds me of a magazine cover I once saw.

*Sigh*

Well, the stupid fucking trailer (as it's affectionately called) finally sold!!!!
It was bitter sweet to see it go, but I'm glad it's out of my hair. I will go tomorrow and pay off the loan, that will be nice, one less bill to pay per month. I think it will be happy in its new home, they seemed like nice people. They really do love it.
Didn't get exactly what I was asking, but the loan is paid with a bit left over, I will save $75/month, I no longer have to stress over getting it sold, and it's not sitting and rotting in my mom's driveway. Freedom!!!
The Phoenix soared!

Canada Day Demo

We made it! We are alive although a little tired, not to mention bruised and scratched (well, I am at least) and a little hoarse from all the yelling.
Willow didn't do too much, just the intros, (the first and third shows it was an agility jump, then four flyball jumps, an agility jump, a tunnel, X-jump, tunnel, agility jump, four flyball jumps, agility jump... basically a big U), the second show it was just 10 in a row, so 10 flyball jumps in a straight line. Derek came with the video camera so we have recordings of it all and some solo flyball between shows.
She could not do any of the other events because of her habit of 'chasing' the other dogs. We really need to break her of that, or basically we are stuck with only solo activities with her (ie no flyball, and she loooooves flyball). What to do, what to do. Hopefully with age comes a miracle.
I, however, did more in the shows, handling dogs, boxloading for flyball, etc. It was a fun day, not too hot thank goodness.
Next time out is at the Dog Days of Scugog show at the Scugog Shores Museum in Port Perry on July 23rd. Our demo virginity is broken, now I have nothing to be nervous about. :-p
