OUCH!

Went this morning to get my brakes done, my brother-in-law's brother does them. Well, turns out that my pads and roters are fine, there is something else wrong, so, now I have to take the car in to get it checked. I had a feeling from the beginning that there was something with the ABS. He said if feels like the fluid is regurgitating. Well, at least I got my summer wheels put on. But, I was outside from 11:00 a.m. to after 2:00 p.m. without sunscreen! Stupid, I'm a red(ish)head with blue eyes.... stupid, stupid. Here's the result of that mistake:

I'm a mean mom! After several comments by people (including my neighbour) about Willow barking I decided to get a remote trainer. I tried a citranella collar, but it didn't work. I know the remote trainer is harsh, but it has to be done, she is out of control. The next step would be de-barking her, and I don't want to do that. She's too smart though, I've shocked her once and that's all I've needed, she hasn't barked in three days (it doesn't hurt, I tried it on myself before trying it on her, it just scares ya). But, she's damn afraid of the thing and knows that the remote that is in my hand is what does the zap. When she is wearing it, she doesn't bark, at all, it's so rare to hear the sound of silence. The only problem with it, is that she gets afraid of me.... I don't want her to be afraid of me. For example, she was laying in the shade at mom's and I pulled out my phone to take a picture and she got up and slinked away. We didn't see her for a while and mom went outside and said she wasn't in the backyard. We searched the house and I went back out into the yard, doing a perimeter check to be sure she didn't dig her way out. I finally found her, and when I did, I laughed my head off:

Poor baby!

She got to sit in the front seat today because my wheels took up the entire back of the car... loves it, I had to force her into the back for the ride back home, silly how obsessed they get.

Yup I either burn or my frekles get bigger. I doubled up on the sunscreen today, but really stayed indoors and caught up on some housework.
