The First One

Where should I start?
It's been a rough year. Last June I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years whom I'd been living with for over a year... that meant him buying me out of our house, getting off the mortgage, and splitting everything. I moved out on my own for the first time in my life.... well Willow came with me. I moved into a basement apartment, where I found out later the landlady was insane (never live in the basement of an 84-year-old woman who barely speaks English). So, I moved in November to another apartment, this one has a very nice young couple living upstairs (lol friends so I have to say that!). Felt like home the second I moved in, it is cozy here.
In September Willow started taking Flyball classes, first class sucked, she did not know what to do and was actually pretty frightened. Well, now it's five months later and she is a pro, she has made it onto a team and we are going to be training to be in the SuperDog show with hopefully our first show being the CNE this year!!! We are also taking Obedience classes and she is, ironically, the best in her class. Willow was born November 12, 2004, so at this time is 15 months old, which is actually pretty young to be doing what she is doing, with Flyball and the SuperDogs and all. She is an Australian Shepherd, so is highly intelligent.
Recently, in mid January, I met Mike. I had joined plentyoffish.com just to basically see what was out there, have some fun, that sort of thing. Well, I met this one guy that really pissed me off, so I ended up changing my profile to reflect my frustration. That's when Mike wrote me. He was just commenting on the rudeness of some people on the site, I sent him back an obligatory "thanks" and we ended up writing back and fourth for a bit, and really, really hit it off. We met in person at the end of January, we've only actually seen each other three times and have only been chatting a little over a month, but it feels like a lot longer, there is a strange connection there. But, hey, I still think taking it slowly is manditory for me, emotionally at least. ;-)
As for my job. Well, I got demoted, basically. I am in the float pool (casual/relief), which means a cut in pay, a cut in hours, and loss of benefits. I am looking for a new job. Hopefully something that pays really, really well so I can actually start my life! (I thought of starting this to keep those I will no longer see everyday updated in my "soap opera" life)
K, so, that's the update, basically where life has taken me in the last bit.... so, we can go from there I suppose. I can't promise a posting everyday, but who can!
